Անկախության տոնի առիթով Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնից Հայրապետական Մեր օրհնությունն ու բարեմաղթանքներն ենք բերում համայն մեր ժողովրդին՝ ի հայրենիս և ի սփյուռս։ Այս մասին ասված է Վեհափառի՝ Անկախության տոնի առթիվ հղված ուղերձում։

«Անկախ պետականության վերահաստատումը դարավոր նվիրական իղձ էր, որը մեր ժողովուրդն իրականացրեց հավաքական կամքով, իր բարօր ու խաղաղ կյանքը կառուցելու և ազգային արժեքներով ապրելու ձգտումով։

Այսօր մեր երկիրն ու ժողովուրդը անցնում են ծանր փորձությունների միջով՝ դիմագրավելով հետպատերազմյան դժվարություններն ու նեղությունները, արտաքին և ներքին բազում մարտահրավերներն ու հիմնախնդիրները։

Պետության հանդեպ մեր պատասխանատվությունը չի կարող հանդուրժել անարդարություն ու անօրինություն, ատելություն ու պառակտվածություն, կեղծիք և խաբեություն, այլ պիտի առաջնորդի մեր ժողովրդին համախոհության ու միասնականության, որպեսզի կարողանանք գտնել ներկա ծանր իրավիճակներից դուրս գալու ապահով ուղիները։ Պետության հանդեպ մեր սերը պիտի դարձնենք վերհառնումի նախանձախնդրություն, միմյանց հանդեպ վստահություն ու հոգատարություն և հանձնառություն ու նվիրում՝ ամեն աշխատանքում ու բնագավառում։ Անկախության տոնը պատգամ է հավատարիմ մնալու ազգային զարթոնքի իղձերին, մեր արժեքներին ու սրբություններին և զորացնելու ու շենացնելու մեր պետությունը։ Միայն այսպես կարող ենք ունենալ խաղաղ ու բարօր ապագայի հույս ու հեռանկար՝ սաղմոսերգուի հետ հանապազ հայցելով Երկնավորից․ «Հիշի՛ր մեզ, Տե՛ր, ի հաճություն Քո ժողովրդի, և այցելի՛ր մեզ Քո շնորհելիք փրկությամբ» (Սաղմ․ 105․4)։

Աղոթում ենք, որ Աստված խաղաղություն պարգևի մեր հայրենիքին և Իր Սուրբ Հոգու իմաստությունն ու առաջնորդությունը շնորհի մեր ժողովրդին՝ հույսով ու հավատով ուժ ու զորություն գտնելու մարտահրավերներին դիմակայելու և փայփայելու ու սերնդեսերունդ արժևորելու Անկախության տոնի պանծալի խորհուրդը։

Թող ողորմությունը, շնորհներն ու օրհնությունը մեր Տեր Հիսուս Քրիստոսի լինեն մեզ հետ և բոլորի, ամեն»,-նշված է ուղերձում։
