Սամվել Կարապետյանը շինարարական ոլորտում Ռուսաստանի խոշորագույն խաղացողներից մեկն է, բարերար է, մեր ազգային կյանքում լուրջ ավանդ ունեցող մարդ է և նրա նկատմամբ կամայական կերպով տեղի է ունենում կալանքի երկարաձգում։ Այս մասին, այսօր՝ հոկտեմբերի 16–ին, դատարանի դիմաց լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց «Հայաքվե»–ի համակարգող Ավետիք Չալաբյանը։

«Ակնհայտ է, որ եթե նույնիսկ գործ է քննվում, ցանկացած այլ խափանման միջոց կարելի է կիրառել։ Սամվել Կարապետյանի նկատմամբ հանգիստ կարող են գրավ կիրառել և մարդուն ազատության մեջ թողնել, որպեսզի ինքը իր գործունեությամբ զբաղվի։ Կալանքը կիրառվում է որպես պատժամիջոց, թե և կալանքը մեր քրեական օրենսդրությամբ դա խափանման միջոց է, այսինքն նրա կիրառման նպատակը պետք է լինի մարդուն սահմանափակել այն դեպքում, եթե նա կարող է քննությանը խանգարել։

Ես օրինակ չեմ պատկերացնում, ինչպես կարող է Սամվել Կարապետյանը քննությանը խանգարել կամ Մկրտիչ Սրբազանը քննությանը խանգարել։ Ակնհայտ է, որ կալանքը օգտագործում են մարդկանց վրա, որպես ճնշման միջոց և դա սկսում է համատարած դառնալ։ Այս քանակությամբ բարձրաստիճան մարդիկ, երկրի առաջ վաստակ ունեցող մարդիկ երբեք կալանավորված չեն եղել։ Դա բացարձակ ճշմարտություն է և դա որևէ այլ բացատրություն չունի, բացի մի բանից, որ  այս իշխանությունը հասկանում է, որ ինքը ընտրություններով պարտվելու է, և փորձում է ընտրություններից առաջ ամբողջ դաշտը հնարավորին չափ մաքրել, ընդդիմությունը մաքրել, իր նկատմամբ դիմադրությունը մաքրել»,– հայտարարեց Չալաբյանը։

Նա համոզմունք հայտնեց, որ դա նրանց մոտ չի ստացվելու, քանի որ ամեն կալանավորվածի հետեւից տասնյակ, հարյուրավոր ու հազարավոր մարդիկ են կանգնում. «Սամվել Կարապետյանի դեպքում մենք տեսնում ենք դա, ուստի ինչքան ուզում եք բերեք, ում ուզում եք կալանավորեք, միևնույն է, մարդիկ պայքարելու են, որ ձեզանից ազատվեն»։
