Վերջին օրերի աղմկահարույց քաղաքական ձերբակալությունների ֆոնին երեկ չափազանց տարօրինակ էր Հակակոռուպցիոն կոմիտեի հաղորդագրությունը, թե քրեական վարույթի շրջանակներում ձերբակալվել են Խաչատուր Աբովյանի անվան հայկական պետական մանկավարժական համալսարանի ռեկտոր Սրբուհի Գևորգյանը և պրոռեկտոր Մարիաննա Հարությունյանը։ Պաշտոնական հաղորդագրության համաձայն, վերջիններս մեղադրվում են համալսարանի տարբեր աշխատակիցներից կազմված հանցավոր կազմակերպություն ստեղծելու և ղեկավարելու, առանձնապես խոշոր չափերով վատնում և խարդախություն կատարելու, ինչպես նաև կաշառք ստանալու համար։ Քրեական վարույթի շրջանակներում ձերբակալվել են նաև համալսարանի մի շարք այլ աշխատակիցներ։

Պրոռեկտորի և ռեկտորին կալանավորելու միջնորդություն է ներկայացվել Հակակոռուպցիոն դատարան։ Ըստ ամենայնի, դատարանը նրանց նկատմամբ տնային կալանքի որոշում կկայացնի, քանի որ գործող իշխանությունները և հատկապես ԿԳՄՍ նախարար Ժաննա Անդրեասյանը չեն ցանկանում, որպեսզի իրենց հովանավորյալները կալանավորվեն։ Բանն այն է, որ Անդրասյանը համալսարանի հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի նախագահն է և, ըստ էության, չէր կարող կոռուպցիոն սխեմաների առկայության վերաբերյալ տեղյակ չլինել։ Ամեն դեպքում նախարարին, իհարկե, քրեական պատասխանատվության չեն ենթարկի, հաշվի առնելով թե նրա, թե իր տխրահռչակ ամուսնու՝ Հանրայինի հաղորդավար Պետրոս Ղազարյանի գործունեությունը, բայց այն, որ Փաշինյանի օրոք էլ ուսումնական հաստատությունները դարձել են կոռուպցիայի կենտրոններ, կարծես թե որևէ մեկին չի զարմացնում։
