Ավստրիացի նկարիչ Գուստավ Կլիմտի «Էլիզաբեթ Լեդերերի դիմանկարը» աճուրդում վաճառվել է ռեկորդային 236.4 միլիոն դոլարով՝ դառնալով աճուրդում վաճառված երկրորդ ամենաթանկ աշխատանքը և աճուրդում վաճառված ամենաթանկ ժամանակակից նկարը։

1914-1916 թվականներին նկարված դիմանկարը պատկերում է Լեդերերին՝ Կլիմտի հովանավորների երիտասարդ ժառանգորդուհուն և դստերը՝ չինական թիկնոցով։

Նյու Յորքի Sotheby's աճուրդում նկարի համար իսկական պայքար է ծավալվել. վեց գնորդներ 20 րոպե պայքարել են, մինչև հաղթող առաջարկը գրանցվել է։ Գնորդի ինքնությունը գաղտնի է պահվում։

Նկարը դժվարին ճակատագրի է արժանացել. այն բռնագրավվել է նացիստների կողմից և գրեթե ոչնչացվել Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի ժամանակ, բայց 1948 թվականին այն վերադարձվել է Էլիզաբեթի եղբորը՝ Էրիխ Լեդերին։ 1985 թվականին դիմանկարը մտել է Estée Lauder-ի ժառանգորդ Լեոնարդ Ա. Լոդերի անձնական հավաքածու, որը այն ցուցադրել է իր Հինգերորդ պողոտայի տանը։

Արվեստի պատմաբան Էմիլի Բրաունը, որը Լոդերի խորհրդականն էր գրեթե 40 տարի, դիմանկարն անվանել է «նրա հավաքածուի զարդը»։ «Նա ճաշել է այս նկարի կողքին գտնվող փոքրիկ կլոր սեղանի շուրջ», - ասել է նա CNN-ին։

Կլիմտի աճուրդի ռեկորդը գերազանցել է «Հովհարով տիկինը» կտավի համար անցյալ տարի վճարված 108 միլիոն դոլարը։
