Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության Գերագույն խորհրդի նիստին ուղղված ուղերձում Իրանի նախագահ Մասուդ Փեզեշքիանն ընդգծել է, որ Իրանի և միության անդամ պետությունների միջև համագործակցությունը երկարաժամկետ ռազմավարություն է՝ ազգային ինքնիշխանության ամրապնդման միջոցով հզոր տարածաշրջան ստեղծելու համար, հաղորդել է IRNA-ն։

Փեզեշքիանի ուղերձը կարդացել է Ռուսաստանում Իրանի դեսպան Քազեմ Ջալալին Եվրասիական միության գագաթնաժողովում, որը սկսվել է կիրակի երեկոյան Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում՝ Ռուսաստանի, Բելառուսի, Ղազախստանի, Ղրղզստանի նախագահների և Հայաստանի վարչապետի՝ որպես միության հինգ անդամ երկրների, մասնակցությամբ։

«Ես վստահ եմ, որ մշակութային և պատմական ընդհանրություններին հենվելով և աշխարհագրական մոտիկության օրհնությունից օգտվելով՝ մենք կարող ենք պատկերել տարածաշրջանային ինտեգրման հաջողակ մոդել։ Եկեք մեծ ջանքերով և վճռականությամբ այս պատմական հնարավորությունը վերածենք համատեղ աճի շրջադարձային կետի», - գրել Փեզեշքիանն իր ուղերձում։

Նա պնդել է, որ անկասկած, ԵԱՏՄ-ն հատուկ տեղ ունի Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության արտաքին քաղաքականության և տնտեսական դիվանագիտության մեջ, և նրանց միջև ազատ առևտրի համաձայնագրի իրականացումը և այս միությունում դիտորդի կարգավիճակ ստանալը կնշանակի արդյունավետ ներկայություն այս կարևոր տնտեսական միավորի գործունեության մեջ այս աշխարհագրական տարածքում։
