WWD-ն հաղորդում է, որ Օդրի Հեփբերնին պատկանող Bulgari հազվագյուտ կրծքազարդը վաճառվել է Փարիզի Sotheby's աճուրդում՝ 355,600 եվրոյով (մոտավորապես 425,000 դոլար)՝ գրեթե վեց անգամ ավելի թանկ, քան սպասվում էր․ չորս հավաքորդների միջև կատաղի մրցակցություն է եղել։

Դորիս Բրինների անձնական իրերին նվիրված աճուրդը ցույց տվեց, որ բարձրորակ զարդերի նկատմամբ հետաքրքրությունը կայուն է մնում նույնիսկ շքեղության շուկայում ընդհանուր անկման պայմաններում։ Զարդերը, այդ թվում՝ Ժան Շլումբերգերի մի քանի դիզայներական աշխատանքներ, կազմել են տասը ամենաթանկ լոտերի կեսը։ Պոլ Գիլյոտի ադամանդե կրծքազարդը, որը մի ժամանակ պատկանել է Էլիզաբեթ Թեյլորին, վաճառվել է 50,800 եվրոյով։

Նորաձևություն և հազվագյուտ տան դեկոր

Աճուրդում նաև բարձր նորաձևության իրերի, այդ թվում՝ 1962 թվականի Balenciaga վերարկուի, մեծ վաճառք է գրանցվել։ Վաճառքը համընկել է Փարիզի բարձր նորաձևության շաբաթվա հետ և ձեռք է բերվել 1.72 միլիոն եվրոյով՝ զգալիորեն գերազանցելով նախնական գնահատականը։

Հազվագյուտ դիզայներական կոշիկները սենսացիա են առաջացրել։ Ռոջեր Վիվիեի վարդագույն Christian Dior կոշիկները ծաղկային նախշերով վաճառվել են 16,510 եվրոյով, ինչը ավելի քան 33 անգամ գերազանցում է բարձր գնահատականը: Vivier-ի շագանակագույն կոկորդիլոսի նման կոշիկների մեկ այլ զույգ նույնպես վաճառվել է 16,510 եվրոյով, չնայած սկզբնական գնահատականին՝ ընդամենը 400-800 եվրո էր։

Յուլ Բրինների այրին՝ Դորիս Բրինները, հայտնի դարձավ որպես Dior-ի տան դեկորի և նվերների բաժնի ղեկավար, ինչպես նաև հազվագյուտ իրերի և նորաձևության աքսեսուարների հավաքորդ: Նա Ֆրանսիա է եկել Չիլիից 1950-ականներին և աշխատել է Pierre Cardin-ում և Valentino-ում՝ մասնագիտանալով հաճախորդների սպասարկման մեջ։

Իր կյանքի ընթացքում նա հավաքել է հագուստի, զարդերի, զամբյուղների, գրքերի, սեղանի պարագաների և այլ իրերի հավաքածու: Դորիս Բրինները մահացել է անցյալ տարվա փետրվարին՝ 93 տարեկանում:
