Հայաստանի մերձեցումը Արևմուտքի հետ նոր մարտահրավերներ է ստեղծում Մոսկվա-Երևան հարաբերությունների համար։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է Հայաստանում ՌԴ դեսպան Սերգեյ Կոպիրկինը, փոխանցում է Սպուտնիկ Արմենիան:

Դիվանագետը նշել է, որ Հայաստանն իր արտաքին քաղաքական կապերի առումով լայն դիվերսիֆիկացման քաղաքականություն է վարում, և այդ քաղաքականության նշանակալի տարրը Արևմտյան երկրների, ԵՄ-ի և ԱՄՆ-ի հետ մերձեցումն է։

«Մենք գիտենք, որ ԵՄ-ն այժմ թշնամական քաղաքականություն է վարում Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության նկատմամբ և, ընդհանուր առմամբ, բացահայտ ազդանշան տալով իր գործընկերներին, որ նրանք պետք է աջակցեն այդ քաղաքականությանը, այդ թվում՝ պատժամիջոցներին։ Իհարկե, սա նոր մարտահրավերներ է ստեղծում մեր հարաբերությունների համար և երկու կողմերից պահանջում է շատ ողջամիտ, հավասարակշռված և իմաստուն մոտեցում, ինչպես նաև ռազմավարական հեռատեսություն», – ասել է Կոպիրկինը «Ռոսիա 24» հեռուստաալիքի եթերում։

Նա հավելել է` այդ ամենը պահանջում է, որ երկու երկրների հարաբերությունները հարմարվեն նոր իրողություններին։

Դեսպանը նաև նշել է, որ Մոսկվան պատրաստ է քննարկելու «Թրամփի ուղի» նախագծին Ռուսաստանի միանալու հնարավորությունը` հատկապես հաշվի առնելով Ռուսաստանի և Հայաստանի փոխգործակցությունը երկաթուղային ոլորտի զարգացման գործում։

Կոպիրկինի խոսքով՝ Ռուսաստանն ուշադիր հետևում է, թե ինչ է տեղի ունենում «Թրամփի ուղի` հանուն միջազգային խաղաղության և բարգավաճման» նախագծի շուրջ։
