Հայաստանը մտադիր է Ռուսաստանի հետ բարեկամական տրամաբանության մեջ լուծել ռուսական կառավարման ներքո գտնվող հայկական երկաթուղու հարցը․ նախօրեին Հանրային հեռուստաընկերությանը տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։ Վարչապետը, սակայն, չի հստակեցրել՝ խոսքը երկաթուղու միայն Իջևանի, Երասխի և Ախուրիկի հատվածները ռուսական կառավարումից հետ վերցնելու մասին է, որի մասին ավելի վաղ արդեն ակնարկել էր, թե՞ առհասարակ երկաթուղու կոնցեսիոն պայմանագիրը խզելու։ Հայաստանն, ըստ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի, կորցնում է մրցակցային առավելությունը, ուստի ստիպված է լուծում գտնել։

«Միջազգային կոնտեքստում շատ կարևոր է, թե ինչպես է շահագործվելու այդ երկաթուղին… Այն փաստի բերումով, որ մեր երկաթուղին, որը մեր սեփականությունն է, գտնվում է ռուսական երկաթուղիների կառավարման ներքո, մենք զգում ենք, որ այստեղ կորցնում ենք մեր մրցակցային առավելությունը»։ Փաշինյանը ընդգծել է, որ միջազգային լարված իրավիճակում ռուսական կառավարման փաստը օգտագործվում է Հայաստանով անցնող երթուղին ոչ շահավետ ներկայացնելու համար։ «Միջազգային մամուլն ու փորձագիտական հանրույթը վերլուծելով՝ հասկանում ենք, որ հիմնական խնդիրը սա է… Ստացվում է, որ մենք գնում ենք խաղաղության, բայց հակառակը՝ մեր շահերը հայտնվում են փակուղու մեջ»։

Թե որն է լինելու այդ լուծումը, Փաշինյանը փակագծեր չի բացել՝ միայն ասել է, որ հարցը քննարկվել է նաև Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի նախագահների հետ։ Իսկ արդեն Ազգային ժողովում կառավարության հետ հարցուպատասխանի ժամանակ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն անդրադարձել է Հայաստանի ատոմային էներգետիկայի ապագային և Մեծամորի ատոմակայանի փակման թեմային։

ԱՄՆ փոխնախագահը Երևանում՝ համապատասխան համաձայնագիր ստորագրելով, բացեիբաց խոսել էր մոդուլային ատոմակայաններ Հայաստան մատակարարելու մասին, մինչդեռ խորհրդարանում Փաշինյանը շարունակում էր պնդել, թե նոր ատոմակայանի հարցը դեռ քննարկվում է «մի քանի գործընկերների հետ՝ Ռուսաստան, Միացյալ Նահանգներ, Ֆրանսիա, Հարավային Կորեա և Չինաստան»։

Թե՛ երկաթուղու, թե՛ ատոմակայանի մասով ակնհայտ է, որ ՀՀ իշխանությունը փորձում է մոլորեցնել միջազգային գործընկերներին և, առաջին հերթին, Ռուսաստանին։ Իսկ դա, ի վերջո, կարող է ծանր հետևանքներ ունենալ։
