Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունները պարբերաբար ընդդիմությանն են մեղադրում՝ դրսից Հայաստանի վրա տա բերելու մեջ, բայց այն, ինչ երեկ արեց Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի ամբիոնից, վեր է ամեն տեսակի պատկերացումներից։

Փաշինյանը, գովելով իր ձախողված «խաղաղության օրակարգը», TRIPP նախագիծն ու իշխանության կատարած քայլերը, հասցրեց բողոքել թե՛ ընդդիմությունից և թե՛ Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցուց՝ ընդհուպ մեղադրելով խաղաղության դե պրոցեսին մասնակից լինելու մեջ։ «Խաղաղության դեմ տարվող այս պրոցեսում որոշ հոգևորականների ներգրավվածության թեմային չէի անդրադառնա, եթե չտեսնեի, թե ինչպես են այդ հոգևորականների էմիսարները և նրանց հետ փոխկապակցված որոշ լոբբիստական կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչները Եվրոպական խորհրդարանում և միջազգային հեղինակավոր այլ կառույցներում փորձում տարածել, թե Հայաստանի Կառավարությունը սահմանափակում է խղճի ազատությունը, թե Հայաստանում բռնապետություն է հաստատվում, թե Հայաստանում կան քաղբանտարկյալներ»,- ասել է ՀՀ վարչապետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնող անձը։

Փաշինյանը պնդել է, թե իրականությունն այն է, որ որոշ հոգևորականներ, ովքեր ցինիկ կերպով խախտել են հոգևոր բարեվարքության բոլոր կանոնները, այդպիսով՝ իրենք իրենց խոցելի են դարձրել օտարերկրյա հատուկ ծառայությունների համար (ի դեպ՝ նրանցից ոմանց ԽՍՀՄ ՊԱԿ գործակալ լինելու փաստը ապացուցվում է փաստաթղթերով)։ «Ահա այդ հոգևորականները Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում ստանձնել են պատերազմի կուսակցության առաջնորդությունը՝ իրենց շուրջ հավաքելով Հայաստանի նախկին ղեկավարներին, նրանց հետ կապված որոշ ուժերի, որոշ ռուսաստանաբնակ և բելոռուսամետ օլիգարխների, և փորձում են Հայաստանի անկախությունը զոհաբերել երրորդ երկրների շահերին»,- ասել է նա։

Այսկերպ Փաշինյանը ցույց է տալիս, որ վախենում է ՀՀ նախկին ղեկավարներից, գործարարներից ու եկեղեցուց, աջակցություն փնտրում ԵՄ-ում։
