Սեփական երկրի ու ժողովրդի պատմությունը խմբագրելու Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի մոլուցքը վաղուց արդեն հատել է տրամաբանական բոլոր սահմանները, և որևէ մեկը նույնիսկ չի էլ զարմանում Փաշինյանի՝ կեղծիք և սուտ տարածելու սովորությունից։ Մայիսի 9-ի կապակցությամբ Փաշինյանը հերթական ուղերձն է հղել, որը, մեղմ ասած, տարօրինակ կարելի է համարել։ «Այսօր Համաշխարհային երկրորդ պատերազմում Խորհրդային Միության և արևմտյան դաշնակիցների տարած հաղթանակի օրն է, որը մեր երկրում նշվում է որպես Հաղթանակի և խաղաղության տոն»,- ասել է Փաշինյանը։

Իր ուղերձում մեկ-երկու բառով անդրադառնալով 2-րդ համաշխարհային պատերազմում ֆաշիզմին հաղթելու հանգամանքին՝ Փաշինյանը բացարձակապես չի շնորհավորել ռազմավարական դաշնակիցներին։ Ավելին, որևէ բառ չկա անգամ Շուշիի ազատագրման վերաբերյալ։

Փոխարենը մի քանի պարբերություն է անդրադարձել Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև իբր հաստատված խաղաղությանը։ «Արդեն երկու տարի Հայաստան–Ադրբեջան հրաձգության հետևանքով ոչ զոհ ունենք, ոչ վիրավոր, մեր սահմանամերձ բնակավայրերն ապրում են հրաձգություններից զերծ միջավայրում։ Սա կարևորագույն ձեռքբերում է, որ մեր երկրի անկախությունից ի վեր առաջին անգամ ունենք»,- նշել է Փաշինյանը։

Իսկ լավագույնս վերջինիս՝ իր խաղաղության մասով, պատասխանել են հենց երեկ Սյունիքում, երբ մի կին Փաշինյանի դեմքին ուղղակի շպպացրել է, թե այսպիսի խաղաղությունը մեզ պետք չէ, երբ ադրբեջանցիները գրավել են առանցքային հատվածներ Հայաստանի ինքնիշխան տարածքից, իսկ բնակավայրերն էլ դատարկվում են գործող իշխանությունների քաղաքականության հետևանքով։
